Estella has been creating art ever since she could pick up a paint brush. Due to a rare birth defect, she spent most of her childhood in-and-out of hospitals and recovering from surgeries. During this challenging time, she discovered her love and talent for art. Now, Estella uses these experiences to illustrate children’s books, teach art classes, and donate art to hospitals so she can help the kids who are like her. She sees doing and sharing art as a form of medicine. Estella’s art is inspired by people’s stories of strength and joy.
