“Whimsical art for the young at heart!” is the artist’s motto. It’s the thread that runs through her multiple styles, whether realism or impressionism. She is happiest when she is creating in her unconventional downtown McKinney Texas studio. Imagining and fabricating original art is when she feels closest to her Creator and her true self! Kim is mainly a painter, using bright colors and an array of palette knives to move buttery paint in organic strokes. This love of texture spills over to 3D sculptures she designs using paper mache and vintage finds.
